Mama Diane’s Guest House has 4 independent cottages and 1 large home with 7 self-contained rooms. In total, Mama Diane’s has 13 rooms with 24/7 electricity, hot water in every room, a central dining space and unlimited WiFi. It’s perfectly suited for large groups who want to stay in one location.
The Nkwenda Gorilla Property sits directly on the boundary of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It’s the ideal location if you’re here for gorilla trekking as you are only a few minutes walk from the visitor’s center for check-in. The property has 4 homes with a total of 5 rooms, all with excellent views of Bwindi and a wonderful staff to host your visit.
The Monkey House is located on the property of Bwindi Community Hospital. It’s the original hub of the Guest House and the central dining space for gatherings and community. It has a total of 9 rooms, 6 of which are self-contained and can be arranged as single, double, twin or triple as needed. The Monkey House serves as a long-term home to many students and volunteers but is also available to tourist groups. Meals are served year-round at the Monkey House and many great conversations with doctors, students, residents and volunteers occur daily.
